OnTap MN Events Portal Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (these Terms) govern your access to and use of the OnTap MN Events Portal (the Portal). By signing in and submitting or managing events, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are provided for general informational purposes and do not constitute legal advice.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the Portal. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

2. Use of the Portal

By using the Portal, you agree that you will:

• Provide accurate and truthful information for all event submissions
• Have the necessary rights and permissions to promote the events you submit
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and local rules

You agree that you will not:

• Submit fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, venues, or staff
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Portal's operation

3. User-submitted content and accuracy

Events and related information shown in or generated from the Portal are submitted by users, venues, and partners. While we may perform basic reviews, OnTap MN does not independently verify every detail of every event.

You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information you submit, and that attendees should confirm event details directly with the venue or organizer. OnTap MN is not responsible for any losses, costs, or damages arising from inaccurate, incomplete, changed, or cancelled event information.

4. Content and licenses

You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you grant OnTap MN a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your event information in connection with operating and promoting the Portal and related services.

You represent and warrant that your submissions do not infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, and that you will indemnify and hold harmless OnTap MN from claims arising out of your submissions.

5. Moderation, approvals, and bans

We may review and moderate submissions at our discretion. We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, remove, or highlight any event for any reason or no reason.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Portal, or restrict specific accounts, if we believe a user has violated these Terms, submitted harmful content, or otherwise poses a risk to OnTap MN, our partners, or the public.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Portal is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Portal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnTap MN and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Portal, including reliance on user-submitted event information.

7. Changes to the Portal and these Terms

We may update or modify the Portal and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice within the Portal or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Portal after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable where OnTap MN is organized and operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
